Create the Relationship You Deserve

Therapy for women in Colorado to build confidence, set boundaries, and create fulfilling, healthy relationships.

Are You Unsure If Your Relationship Truly Meets Your Needs?

Even when your life looks put together on the outside, you feel a quiet tension or uncertainty in your relationship. You question whether your needs are truly being met or find yourself constantly adjusting to keep the peace. You hesitate to speak up for yourself, worried about conflict or rejection, and you overthink every conversation or decision. This underlying unease leaves you feeling anxious, unseen, and unfulfilled, even if your partner seems fine on the surface.

Relationship dissatisfaction or anxiety often shows up in subtle, persistent ways:

  • You compromise your own needs to avoid tension or disappointment.

  • You seek external validation from your partner instead of trusting your own instincts.

  • You feel hesitant to fully be yourself, worried about rejection or repeating past patterns.

  • Small disagreements trigger self-doubt or anxiety, making it hard to feel grounded in the relationship.

These experiences make it difficult to trust yourself and your judgment, leaving you stuck in patterns that make deeper connection and fulfillment seem impossible. Even when you logically know you deserve a healthy, supportive partnership, anxiety and self-doubt can quietly erode your confidence, creating a cycle of compromise, worry, and uncertainty.

How Our Work Can Ease Relationship Anxiety:

  • Recognizing Unhealthy Patterns: Relationship challenges often show up as codependent behaviors, overthinking, or habitual compromise. We’ll explore current and past relationships to identify patterns that may be keeping your from feeling secure and fulfilled. Awareness is the first step toward interrupting these cycles and replacing them with healthier alternatives.

  • Understanding Your Needs: Knowing what you need in a relationship is essential, but it’s difficult to communicate those needs if you’re unsure what they are. We’ll work together to help you clarify your desires, priorities, and deal-breakers so you can communicate them confidently and assertively.

Therapy can help you build clarity, self-trust, and confidence in how you show up with your partner. Together, we’ll explore patterns, strengthen emotional boundaries, and develop tools to foster connection, respect, and emotional intimacy.

  • Setting Healthy Boundaries: A key element of any successful relationship is the ability to set and maintain healthy boundaries. You’ll learn how to assertively communicate your needs, protect your emotional well-being, and establish boundaries that honor your individuality while prioritizing connection with your partner.

  • Strengthen Communication Skills: Effective, respectful communication lays the foundation for a healthy relationship. We’ll explore how you express your feelings and actively listen to your partner, helping you create deeper intimacy, more authentic conversations, and greater trust.

The therapeutic process will be tailored to you and our relationship.

We may share a few laughs or tears, sometimes both! As you feel comfortable, we’ll explore how past relationships and early attachment figures impact how you show up in relationships today and what kind of partners you attract. Together we’ll work to clarify what you want and need in a healthy relationship and you’ll build the capacity to show up authentically, trust yourself, and engage in partnerships with clarity, confidence, and mutual respect.

Each session will be 50 or 80 minutes, depending on your needs. I recommend meeting weekly for at least the first 8 weeks to maintain momentum, build our therapeutic relationship, and work on your treatment goals.
